Studentships at the university of Exeter

LEVENTIS POSTGRADUATE STUDENTSHIP
Deadline: Friday February 3 2012 (midnight).
 
This studentship for PhD research (during 2012-15) is funded by the A. G. Leventis Foundation. The research can be on any aspect of Greek or Roman antiquity. The studentship is worth £20,000 per annum, to cover both fees (EU or overseas) and maintenance.

Entry criteria
Successful applicants are expected to have a good first degree (at least 2.1, or international equivalent) in Classics and Ancient History or a related discipline, and a Masters degree at Merit/Distinction level, or international equivalent, in Classics and Ancient History or a related discipline. If English is not your native language then you will also need to satisfy our English language entry requirements.

You complete an online web form where you submit some personal details and upload a full CV, research proposal and, if relevant, proof of your English language proficiency. You also need to supply transcripts of examination results and two references by February 3rd, 2012.
