Belmont Abbey College seeks a tenure-track AssistantProfessor with a specialization in late antiquity and medieval Europe to beginin August 2012. The successful candidate who must have an understanding of theCatholic Intellectual tradition and be able to articulate it cogently, and willbe expected to teach upper-level courses in Benedictine and Roman CatholicChurch history as well as in his/her area of expertise. The candidate will alsobe expected to teach core curriculum courses, Western Civilization I and II.The teaching load is four courses per academic semester. The successfulapplicant will have demonstrated strong ability or potential as a teacher,scholar, and mentor.
