TheDepartment of Art History at the University of Chicago announces a juniorposition (tenure-track) in the art and visual culture of the AncientMediterranean, to commence in academic year 2012-2013. Art historians workingon any region/epoch from the Iron Age through Late Antiquity are encouraged toapply. This category is deliberately broad; it is not expected that applicantsshould have expertise across the entire chronological or geographic range.Those with expertise in the Hellenistic/Roman world or in cross-culturalexchange are especially welcome.
