The annual meeting of the Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association will be held at Seattle University, October 19-21 2012. PAMLA (previously Pacific Coast Philological Association) is a regional MLA with a strong tradition of including sessions and papers on the ancient world. This year’s Classics-focussed sessions include: Classics (Greek), Classics (Latin), Ancient-Modern Relations, and Classical Traditions in Modern Fantasy; other general thematic sessions welcome submissions by Classicists. Please visit the PAMLA website at pamla.org for details on how to submit abstracts. The deadline for submissions is April 22, 2012.
