The Department of Archaeology & Numismatics of theUniversalmnuseum Joanneum and the Institute of Archaeology of the University ofGraz will host a conference on Roman sarcophagi in October 2012.
In addition to analytical and synthetic contributionsthe topics are methodology, production and distribution in the Danubeprovinces, and the integrative analysis of epigraphy and sarcophagi.
Please note that reports about new finds or thehistory of collections will only be accepted for the poster session.
Abstracts of no more than 800 words on the abovetopics will be accepted until March 31st 2012.
