Although many amazing lawyers have provided a wealth of advice, joining a firm does not appeal to me.
Counseling sounded okay, but likely to lead to too many issues.
So am going with Plan B. The Catholic church is unlikely to go with this plan, do I'm going down the Rabbi route ... So I am now allowing people to talk to me as a Rabbi, to be covered by confidentiality in our discussions. Go figure.
