Artifacts found on the Aniakchak Archaeology Project, a collaboration between U.S. National Park Service and Hamline University. Aniakchak National Monument and Preserve, Alaska, USA.

The first photo shows a carving of a bone face, which dates to around AD 500, the second photo illustrates the range of artifacts recovered from the site. The artifact in the third photo is an unidentified bone tool, and dates to approximately AD 500. Although its function is uncertain, it was clearly part of a complex tool.
