On Saturday, in a ceremony held for the occasion at Beirut's National Museum, the Lebanese government returned 78 confiscated Mesopotamian artefacts smuggled into Lebanon from Iraq. The usual speeches were exchanged between Lebanese Culture Minister Gaby Layyoun and the Iraqi Ambassador to Lebanon, Omar Barzanji.
