....is beingprepared by Irving Finkel of theBritishMuseum (London) and Bertvan der Spek of the FreeUniversity of Amsterdam (Holland).* Their resultsare presented here for the first time, so you will also find scholarlyeditions of the texts, which presuppose some knowledge of the Akkadianlanguage. This online-publication is intended to invite suggestions forbetter readings, comments and interpretations (go hereto contact Van der Spek). Below, you will find an overview of chronicles, more or less in theirchronological order. For those who are unfamiliar with the subject butare interested, the "reader's editions" ought to be accessible. These aresimplified translations. After reading a bit about the conventionsof publication, the "scholarly editions" ought to be accessible too.All Babylonian Chronicles are presented in translation at Mesopotamian Chronicles, courtesy of Livius, with the new editions of texts to be included in BCHP presented in scholarly editions. The most recently completed one being an Astronomical Diary Concerning Bagayasha and Timotheos.
