Trengganu to build RM20m ‘Batu Bersurat’ museum

The state government will build a RM20 million “Batu Bersurat” (inscribed stones) museum in Kampung Buluh, Hulu Terengganu next year, announced state Religious Affairs and Information Committee chairman Ramli Noh today.

“A seven acre land has been approved for the “Batu Bersurat” museum and it is in the final stages of design,” he told reporters after the launch of a two-day seminar on the inscribed stones at the state museum in Losong near here.

Also present at the event was director of the Terengganu state museum board Mohd Yusof Abdullah.
